James C. Dobson, Ph.D., is founder and chairman emeritus of Focus on the Family, a non-profit organization that produces his internationally syndicated radio programs, heard in 27 languages on over 7,000 radio stations, in over 160 countries. His commentaries are heard by more than 220 million people, including a translation of a program carried on state-owned radio stations in the Republic of China.

Dr. Dobson is married to Shirley and they have two grown children, Danae and Ryan. Ryan and his wife, Laura, have a son, Lincoln Cash. The Dobsons reside in Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA.
